Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)

The Charities Aid Foundation is a charity whose mission is to create greater value for charities and social enterprise. We do this by transforming the way donations are made and charitable funds are managed.  

Established in 1974, CAF works both in the UK and internationally. Our work spans the full breadth of the charitable sector, working wherever we feel we can make a positive difference to the level and impact of giving. 

For individuals, we have created a range of ways to make giving to charity simple and tax efficient. For businesses, we offer solutions to facilitate engagement with their communities. For charities, we have a variety of services to help make more of what’s given. 

CAF distributes over £1m to charities on each working day of the year. And the higher interest rates paid and lower fees charged by the bank we own has meant an extra £20m for our charity customers in the last year alone.
